Radius Product Development is looking for a talented and experienced Program Manager that can contribute as both an experienced mechanical engineer and a project manager. Experience in health care product development, FDA requirements and/or packaging is desired. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of creative problem solving, sound knowledge of engineering principles, and will be knowledgeable about manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong passion for product development are essential in leading our teams and clients.

This individual needs to provide a broad view and understanding of the product development process, and effectively lead multi-disciplined team efforts in the evolution of products from concept through testing and validation. Responsibilities will include directing product development teams, leading project engineering efforts, risk management, managing project budgets and schedules, developing proposals, and supporting business development and client interaction activities.

The prospective Program Manager will have a BSME and minimum of 6 years of mechanical engineering and project management experience. A solid understanding of manufacturing methods, project planning, and design controls is a must. Experience in using CAD packages such as Pro/Engineer and Solidworks is desired. Direct experience in the product development consulting business is a plus. The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong background and interest in the business, engineering, and product development aspects of project leadership. Good command of spoken and written in Chinese, English and Mandarin is a must. Frequent travel is a requirement of this position.
