We are seeking exceptional program managers for openings in Chicago, Boston, Beijing and Hong Kong (Mandarin and Cantonese language required for China positions) The position of Program Manager is responsible for client and project leadership at Radius Product Development. The position entails leading product development strategic planning, scheduling, budgeting, proposal writing, and project resource management. This position will provide industry expertise and engineering insight to guide and advise our customers through conceptualization to design validation. Team leaders play an integral role in maintaining an effective, cross-functional collaborative Radius work place as well as the financial vitality of the business. This position reports directly to the discipline leader.
- Fulfill all team leader responsibilities
- Provide project leadership to strategic accounts
- Take a lead role in growth and relationship of anchor and emerging clients
- Conceptualize and communicate ways of providing new and improved value to our customers
- Interface with Nypro and outside suppliers for tooling and manufactured parts
- Lead in maintaining and improving the Radius product development process
- Contribute engineering and product development knowledge and experience to all projects
- Responsible for the profit/loss of projects lead
- Contribute to the strategic growth and improvement of Radius
- Promote a culture of pride, passion, and integrity
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Masters preferred
MINIMUM PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE TYPICALLY REQUIRED
- Minimum of 10 years experience working on the design and development of medical devices
- A minimum of 5 years working in a consulting business
- Familiarity with ISO 9000-2000 and design control elements
- A history of managing multiple multi-level projects
- A history of leading multi-disciplinary teams
- A knowledge of manufacturing processes, injection molding and plastics
- A demonstrated history of working directly with executive-level clients
