CytoCore e2 Collector

Conventional pap smears for cervical cancer tend to damage cells, which invalidates results.
Further, clinicians can't tell where problem cells originate, requiring treatment of larger-than-necessary areas of the cervix.
The CytoCore e2 Collector solves both problems. Radius engineered a new process that maps the locations of cancerous cells, permitting targeted treatments. For the patient, Radius designed the form, scale and functioning of the collection system to minimize patient discomfort during the procedure.

For the physician, we designed a system that gives the doctor a clear view during cell collection, protects the cells during collection and meets other concerns.  For CytoCore and physician practices, we designed a system which reuses the most complex, expensive components of the system. The end product not only helps providers improve care, but makes women's lives more comfortable along the way.
